The views from the casita are spectacular.  You keep pinching yourself that it’s real and not a photo. The casita was recently remodeled to high standard s and contains everything that you will need for a delightful stay.  We enjoyed having the Direct TV with English cable programs, and the complimentary Wi-Fi and VoIP international phone.   The owners live next door and were very helpful with our weekly plans and other suggestions. They had a bottle of good Malbec wine waiting for us to get the week started.

This property was very easy to book since the owners have a USA telephone. They are from California; speak English and are very knowledgeable of the Bariloche area. We used PayPal for the deposit and the final payment, so no need to carry large sums of cash in order to pay for the casita.

We would return to this property in a heartbeat!"

"A mutual friend recommended Jamie and Shanie's Casita Llao Llao to us, and after we saw pictures, we fell in love with it.  To our delight, it was even better in person!  The views are spectacular, the decor is charming, and you couldn't ask for 2 better (and wiser) owners!  Jamie and Shanie were always available for restaurant recommendations, ski trail tips, and general information about what to do when bumming around town.  We were sure Rio de Janeiro was the most beautiful city in the world, but after visiting Patagonia, we feel there is some good competition!  We will definitely stay at one of Jamie and Shanie's properties the next time we visit spectacular Bariloche!"

"I stayed at Casita Llao Llao in May 2008 after spending a few weeks fly fishing in San Martin de los Andes.  Casita Llao Llao was a perfect way to end my trip to Patagonia.  The views were fantastic and the Casita had all the amenities one could ask for (high speed wireless internet, a tv if you were so inclined to take your eyes off the views of the lake, and a Skype phone to call home - and included in the cost of the rental!)...
 
Jamie and Shanie were fantastic to rent from and they made the experience painless.  They even organized a rental car for me for the week (which was definitely the way to go so you can drive into town or go exploring on your own schedule) and provided a list of good restaurants and activities.  The complimentary bottle of wine in the Casita was a nice touch as well!
 
I will definitley return to Casita Llao Llao on my return trips to Argentina and I look forward to spending some more time with the hosts.  They truly make you feel as if you are visiting some old friends and just happen to be staying in their guest house!"

"Our stay at Casita LLao Llao was a highlight of our trip to Chile and Argentina. The Casita surpassed all of our expectations. The location was perfect with easy access to Bariloche but away from the touristy crowds. Jamie and Shanie were fantastic hosts helping us plan the trip, accommodating last minute changes and advising on what to do and where to go. We felt like we had concierge service better than a 5 star hotel. And the cost is so reasonable compared to a hotel. While there we saw the most beautiful vistas, ate incredible meals, went on lovely hikes. Even though it was the start of the rainy season, it seemed every time we turned around there was a rainbow. We are delighted to recommend it to anyone and will definitely go back on our next trip."

This time round, we hit jackpot as we found a really lovely little casita or cabin located 23.4kms out of Bariloche town. Casita Llao llao (www.barilochehouse.com) was built with care and attention to detail and is owned and managed by Jamie and Shanie, a hospitable and enterprising young couple from California. Clean and modern amenities like DVD, 29inch TV, skype phone, WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen truly made us feel like our home was transported from Buenos Aires to Bariloche, but with an added view of the mountains, lake and big beautiful blue skies which we woke up to every morning. Their local knowledge helped a lot as they provided us with valuable tips on the best places to visit for sights and local fare to try during our stay in Bariloche."

They accepted Pay Pal for the deposit and final payments; they made our arrangements for the Lake Crossing to Chile including driving us to the pick up spot; they helped us rent a car and suggested restaurants and places to visit and even provided a skype phone for our use! They could not have been more helpful but in no way intrusive during our stay.
The Casita itself is so neat! The view from the picture window or deck is amazing! The Andes mountains ringing Lago Nahuel Huapi was mesmerizing day and night. We consider Llao Llao one of our most favorite places and have recommended the Casita to many friends. We would love to return ourselves someday. "

When they say that they are committed to making sure you have the best vacation possible, that's not just propaganda.  We spent two fine weeks in the Casita property in July/August, and it is just as beautiful as it appears in the photos - and also extremely well equipped when compared to most cabin rentals we've encountered. Both Jamie and Shanie were unfailingly helpful (and patient!)  In responding to our numerous queries for advice and information. If your Spanish is shaky, traveling around the Bariloche region can be a challenge, but staying with them kept problems to a minimum. Finally, apart from all the extras that they offer in the way of service, the prices they charge remain very competitive. We recommend them highly..."
